REFRAMING
REPRESENTATIONFeburary 2025
Exhibition Design and Build for student-curated show Reframing Representation, class instructed by Adam Thabo.
When looking at artwork “Do we see the real world, or do we just see a representation of it?” This is a question Magritte often poses in his consistent representations of windows, do we see the outside world or the work of one man’s perception of the outside world. The exhibition “Reframing Representation” asks this question of the artist, prompting an introspective look into how we express our own illusory perceptions of the world in unique representations and reconfigurations of the window.

Kairos (A Timeless Myth)
2024
Set design, costume design, original play & music composition for Brown’s Mini-musical Forum. Playbook designed with Grace Liu.
Kairos is a musical reinterpretation of Greek mythology, an eclectic vignette of moments. The hallmark characters from the Trojan War move through their stories and their seasons in a world operating on Kairos. Who are these figures? When are they hopelessly human in the now, and when are they a timeless myth? Why are they here now? Kairos (non-linear, personal time personified) is the key.
